The room had a great city view and it was well cleaned. It was also equipped with more than enough electricity outlets to charge our devices. The location was just a short distance from the train station, which was very convenient. Added bonus was that there were various restaurants in the area we could choose from for our meals.

The approach route to the hotel was quite narrow and a bit disorienting. To top it off, there were tuk-tuk drivers relentlessly vying for our attention on the way out.

We found a hidden gem of a hotel tucked down a shady looking alley with lots of budget hotels all around. Despite the location, it was near the Golden temple. the room was cozy and well-maintained, with furniture up to standard and a fully functional TV unit. the bathroom was clean and well lit, with no fancy items but nothing to complain about.

The wifi did not support Whatsapp, which was a shame for modern travellers.
